Everyone can write you a plan. Nobody runs it with you.
You talk through one thing you’re trying to change, once. Backstay builds a plan around the week you actually have, then stays on it with you: a nudge when it’s time, and a rewrite when the week goes sideways.
Getting to bed before 1am. The gym membership you keep paying for. The thesis chapter. The tax return that has been open in a tab since March. One thing at a time, whatever yours is.
$150 a year. Nothing to pay now, and nothing to cancel. It’s still being built, and this is the early-access list.
Here’s how it goes.
-
One conversation, about half an hour. You talk, out loud, about the thing you’re changing: what you have already tried, and where it fell over last time. That is the only long thing you do.
-
You get a plan small enough to remember. Specific actions at specific times, built around the hours you are genuinely free and the places you will genuinely be. “Gym at 7:10 on the way to work”, not “exercise more”. You read it back and change anything that won’t survive contact with your week.
-
Then it runs with you. A nudge on your phone at the moment the thing is meant to happen, and one tap to say you did it. A standing check-in on a schedule you set, weekly through to monthly, by text or by voice. And when you miss, it asks what got in the way and rewrites that part of the plan instead of letting it rot.
No streaks, no guilt, nothing that shames you into it. iPhone and Android.
Joining the list is free. $150 a year if you use it once it opens.
18+ only. We’ll use your address to tell you about early access and nothing else. One click to unsubscribe, any time. How we handle it.
You’re on the list.
Three questions while you’re here. Thirty seconds, and the answers genuinely change what gets built.
That’s all of it. Thank you.
You’re on the early-access list, and we’ll be in touch before it opens.
